i used to love these guys. and i guess i still do. but they have been "going into the studio" for about the past year now. i'll believe it when i see it.

agreed. they were both my favorite bands at one point in time, ironically as well.
at least they didnt go all Hollywood. I have a feeling this record is something even the haters might like. Just a hunch; but then again, what do I know? :)

I'm definitely not feeling Pierre's hair. I sure hope he cuts it after they finish recording. I must say though that SP is incredible live. I saw them play w/ GC about 2 years ago and they definitely out-shone GC. "Untitled" was amazing live. I can't wait to hear their new stuff.

I like Simple Plan so matter what anyone says, but yeah, like someone else says, they've been saying that they were starting their album for a long time now, I'm wondering if they're really doing it this time. If they are finally starting the cd, I'll be curious to see if they keep their musical style pretty much the same as their other albums or if they change alot.

I think they have that Linkin Park dilemma about keeping the same sound they've had for years and years, or changing it up at the risk of losing their fanbase.

Pierre looks like he's wearing a wig and he does seem to have picked up some weight. Not sure what that has to do with them making an album that they've been supposedly making for a while but yeah...
Maybe they'll be songs better than "Shut up" cause that was terrible.

Used to listen to them like five years ago. Same with Good Charlotte. I gotta say though, I definitely still have more respect for Simply Plan than Good Charlotte.
Anyone hear Good Charlotte's new single by the way? It's fuckin' terrible. Just goes to show how much they mold their sound to whatever is selling the most at the time. In this case it's dancey stuff.
