2005 saw in some great albums, but how many of us checked out the dead 60's self titled? well i sure did & loved it & since their meant to be working on their new album (hopefully haha) i figured it's time to spread the love. they're often (sound wise) compared to the likes of the clash & the specials & it's for obvious reasons upon listening. but these guys also mix up everything else in a swirling array of musical splendor, influences from ska, reggae, punk, funk, rock, pop, it's all here & sounds great. just all comes together for a really enjoyable listen. check out the myspace. i recon a lot of you will enjoy them, even if it’s not usually your thing

any fans, share some love & discussion?

i haven't listened to this band in ages. i loved their self titled album. i saw them live ages ago when they were called pinhole or something like that. they sounded a bit different then though, more pop punk than ska

any fans, share some love & discussion?I'm glad you reced it to me recently, because their ST got lost in all the other music I have on iTunes, and now it's been given a proper chance I really enjoy it, especially because they're not something I'd normally listen to.

oh nice, how are they live? i loved riot radio when it first came out, the whole album really, was just a really refreshing listen for some reason. & even know a couple years down the track when i throw it on occasionally, it's still got that refreshing enjoyment quality to it
