Stephen Brodsky and JR Connors of Cave In fame have formed a new band called Pet Genius (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofi le&friendID=193023655). The band's debut is set for release later this year via Hydra Head.

I am looking forward to this! I think the weed logo on their main page is kind of unprofessional though.

Sounds cool though. I love Brodsky.

Everything these guys touch usually turns to gold or a gold-like substance.

I'm excited. Hydra Head has been hitting on all cylinders as of late.

beyond excited, but between this, Converge, Doomriders, Zozobra, The Octave Museum, Clouds, and Stephen's solo stuff, i think it's safe to say that cave in have thrown in the towel

i bet they didnt expect anyone to even find that page so soon, nor as many people that have so quickly. whoopsy.

they havent broken up, and i doubt they really ever will, but itll most likely be quite a while before they reconvene.

cave in is definitely not broken up. brodsky said in an interview it's only a matter of time until they get back together and start writing. when that time will be is unknown but still. they're not dead.

Caleb on bass wanted to write his own songs, hence zozobra. The other side of the spectrum is this, which is kind of like the beatles...but harder?

Harmonic Tremors by Zozobra is a great hard album, one of the only interesting listens I've gotten lately.

Now we just need some more Old Man Gloom.

i wouldnt have either if it wasnt for the prp.com

also, i really dont want em to break up either, but Zozobra is quickly gaining steam, and brodsky is knee deep in side projects.
