“A Well Thought-Out Englilsh Paper”

Since maybe like the Middle Ages, there have been many differing opinions about hustle and bustle. This cannot be denied. It is my intention to sit down and play video games for several hours.

First, moving around quickly, and with purpose, is a true sign of character. Secondarily, bustle(e.g. hustle) yields more product for the working types. “Hustle and bustle are like my right and left arms,” said Li’l Spicy in his famous “Hustle and Bustle Are Like My Right and Left Arms” speech. Webster’s defines bustle as “excited and often noisy activity; a stir.” A stir, indeed. Finally, sometimes gross stuff can be funny.

In conclusion, I, “The Yellow Dart,” think I have done a great job illustrating the many differing opinions about hustle and bustle, may they both rest in peace. Also, I think Strong Bad should decrease The Cheat’s allowance.

We have to write about the progress of technology I think. I hope actually. HA. Here is my failure.....

America has progressed profoundly through the years. In this time, almost everything is done with technology. Our communications have advanced immensely. Instead of having long cords and being stationary, we are walking around with a device that can fit in the palm of our hands, called a cell phone. Another example of improvement is the way we travel. Most of us couldn't begin to imagine traveling with only a horse-drawn carriage or a bicycle. We can now get to speeds that are beyond anyone's expectations. We can go anywhere around the world. The medical field has also developed tremendously. We have found so many cures and treatments for illnesses that were taking people's lives everyday in the past. Another example of technological advancement is the computer. We know it significantly effects our everyday routines just by the fact that I am using one right now. It is also the center of information. Many of us base research projects using the data found on the internet.

We have taken a notion to look forward instead of backwards. This may benefit us but it also can be a negative outlook. It can relate to the expression "History repeats itself." For example, recently there was a blackout in Canada, New York, New Jersey, and other northeastern states. Those areas did not have power for 24 hours. The reaction of the event was total chaos and panic. It made front news everywhere, even in different countries. The expense that it cost to fix was enormous. So for a day, they had to rely on old fashioned customs. Also, it wasn't the first time a blackout has occurred. There was one in the same area in 1977 and they should have known about the power system and what it can do.

This occurrence shows how much we depend on electricity and technology. If the power was out for any longer, the chaos would have been colossal. It was as if the world was upside down. It shows that every bit of progress that is made, has a downside. The only reason we live is because we are strong and we survive. We must continue progressing to become resolute and conquer everything.

So in conclusion, America has progressed greatly since the beginning. There is a vast amount of examples of what we have accomplished. We look towards the future and forget about the past which causes some mistakes. Though, we always get through the difficulties by creating a logical solution.
