I voted for everything except Cabin Fever, since it blows.

Return of the Living Dead, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes, Young Frankenstein, Waxwork, Gremlins, Monster Squad, Lost Boys, Gozu, and Nuke Em High are some of the good, lesser and un-mentioned horror-comedies around here.

Has anyone seen any of these, or anything else that isn't in the poll, maybe?

shaun of the dead, slither, gremlins and behind the mask: the rise of leslie vernon are far and away the best in my opinion.

'Undead' is a recent one that I really like. The dialog is so over the top at times (in the making of feature one of the actors was saying how hard it was to keep a strait face with his lines) and some pretty cool effects. Plus you see a guy punching out zombie fish.

It's about damn time, too. My old VHS copy won't last much longer.

undead was fun, but it lost me about halfway through. i could have done without the whole angle of what actually created the zombies.

the one character is worth watching the movie for though. and the main chick is incredibally sexy.

I preordered it. haha.

And Young Frankenstein is pure genius. Gene Wilder can do no wrong. Haunted Honeymoon is also great.

Evil Dead 2 by far.

I hated Shaun of The Dead. It was so lame. Especially the part where the zombie was in his backyard, and he had to decide which album he had to throw at the zombie. It's like Jesus Christ dude, a fucking zombie is there, don't throw records at it, run. I just never saw how zombies could be thought of as comical. I also thought it was lame at the end when his mom died, and they tried making it all sad because she died. Then at the end his friend lives in the garden shed. Seriously, I fucking hate this movie and it was a waste of my time on so many levels.

I always thought Freddy Vs Jason was funny as shit...but since it's not up there, I went with Tremors. I've never seen Shaun of the Dead, or Hot Fuzz for that matter, but I plan to see both tonight; so my opinion might change.

Yeah it's weird how they started gearing the series more towards comedy and less horror as it went along. The first one was mostly horror-based. The second seemed to be the best mixture of horror and comedy and the third one was mostly comedy. All 3 are still great though of course.

It's a romantic comedy that happens to have zombies in it

i'd say it's a horror-comedy just because of well done the actual horror in it is actually done.

Raptor. Sort of a horror/comedy, but most of the humor was unintentional. I've never laughed harder because a movie was so bad. Mosquito would be in the same category... b-movie horror is the best.

As far as horror with more intentional humor... Black Sheep looks hilarious (NOT the chris farley movie). Planet Terror count? that was fantastic aside from the ending. Of these? Shaun of the Dead. I need to watch some of these again though, its been a long time since I've seen most of them.
