Cursive (http://www.myspace.com/cursive) is looking for extras for their new music video.
We need Extras (also known as unpaid actors) for the filming of our new video this Saturday. From 10am to 5pm at 32nd and Harney - The place is Called "A Merry Occasion Wedding Chapel." Everyone should dress in white as if they are going to church. We should note there will not be a band performance this is all the narrative part of the shoot.

MAP TO THE CHAPEL (http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=a+merry+occasion+wedding+chapel&near=Omaha,+NE&fb=1&cid=0,0,7151783891833976596&f=d&daddr=3205+Harney+St,+Omaha,+NE+681 31&ie=UTF8&ll=41.25867,-95.958999&spn=0.004759,0.009795&z=17&om=1)

and just for the record, after seeing all these 'why can't i live in omaha' posts....

saddle creek road is not a place to visit.

it's an absolute shit hole. the music scene isn't there anymore, it's back on 72nd where it belongs.

god I miss the ranch bowl.

We all miss the ranch bowl.

But The Slowdown and The Waiting Room are two of the best new venues on the planet. The Slowdown also being owned by Saddle Creek records. And yes you are right about Saddle Creek road, there is really nothing there at all.

As for all the kids wanting to live in Omaha, its quite a nice place to live actually. I love Omaha.

Yes it is. I lived there for 15 years of my life. Loved it.

Any idea how many people you guys think will show up? I'm deciding whether I want to spend my day doing that, especially since JEW tickets go on sale at that time and WILL sell out shortly thereafter.

I guess I could get someone to buy them for me instead though...hmmm

That suprises me to hear you say that, yes both of those venues are nice, but they only host indie style music, and being that you are an AP.net user, most of the bands that talked about on this site now for the most part play at the Rock.

Now, now, don't forget good ol' Sokol Undy and Audy. I've probably seen more shows there than any other place combined.
