finch question

Ok, so last year some time I bought 'what it is to burn' by finch. A little bit after that, I see the video for 'letters to you' and the song sounds so different. Like it sounds better then the cd version. Then a little bit later, I see the vid for 'what it is to burn' and the song is SO different. There's a different intro and it just sounds a lot better. What's the deal here?

one of them was a demo version (what it is to burn, not letters to you).

for letters to you I think I read somewhere that they made the voices louder than the music or something for the radio.

They re-released the cd with the new version of "what it is to burn" a while ago. If you bought the cd when it first came out, you have the demo version.

the first 10000 or 15000 copies of the cd had it the old way. they werent done with what it is to burn... so when they finished it they just repressed it with the new version. the story goes something like that...
