It was only a matter of time before facebook had something like this, and I'm definitely looking forward to some NFG updates.

Facebook has now turned exactly into myspace.

No kidding. Any news on what other movie covers will be on this album? I think this is a great move on their part to gain back the few fans that didn't like "Coming Home".

Facebook has now turned exactly into myspace.

Myspace = Virb = Tagworld = Buzznet = Friendster = Facebook = makeoutclub 2.0, etc...

The internet is starting to hurt my brain.

Man, Facebook jumped the shark when people started putting all of those stupid applications on their profiles. Simpler is sometimes better.

this sucks. i liked facebook being a college-exclusive site. that's what made it cool and a great myspace alternative. i don't want two damn myspace accounts.

That's what I've been saying this whole time... First opening it up to other communities, now applications...

:redcard:
That's two yellows, Thefacebook, you're done.

It's basically a good version of MySpace now. Not sure if that's bad or good. Probably bad.

Agreed. I always see facebook as like a means to get in touch with people you know/used to know as opposed to randomers who just add you because you like similar music.

The applications I see are pointless. The only one I have added is the last.fm and flixter applications. It ends there.

I liked facebook better when it wasn't myspace. I had my myspace, because that was more for the bands, meeting new people, and facebook is more for people I already know/can keep in touch with. Oh well, it was bound to happen sometime. Just wait for the next big social networking site, and it will too go the same way.

Fucking lame cycle if you ask me.

I think it's a good move on their part....nothing wrong with networking/expanding your fan base.

if you don't like it, leave it.

Christ. So if there's an opinion on something we dont like, we can't moan about it?

moan away. everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. if you call stating your own opinion, "moaning", then please do that.
i'm just saying that nobody is making you actually do anything. for example, you don't like the stupid facebook applications? fine, don't use them. don't like gay marriage? don't get one. don't like abortion? don't have one.
catch my drift? yeah you do...
