where do you see the alternattive music scene in 10 years, we have all seen what has evolved into hardcore and emo, and what is todays underground, what do you think shit will be looking like in 10 or 20 years??? i have no clue, but i think its gonna be an amazing mess

They're gonna run "Emocore Star Search" on tv and shit, there will be hundreds of premanufactured and casted popcore bands like Linkin Park. Rock and alternative music will become the new mainstream and your sister will go to concerts of your favorite bands, screaming and showing off her tits. Linkin Park and Nickelback will go on tour with B3, Blue and Avril Lavigne, also performing at the Disney Kid's Club. Poison The Well songs will be heard on car commercials and Slipknot will perform at The White House in Washington D.C. That's about it
ahh .. life looks good in the future :D

i dont know what you mean like today how the rolling stones were big ten years ago and still well known today, like we will all eventually forget who we listen to in our prime? or will we tell our kids about how our favorite bands was bright eyes? and how conor oberst was a raging drunk?

My millencolin cd's will probably sound the same as they do right now in 15 years. Unless they get scratched or something.

music has evolved completely over the years. i cant see music sounding the same in ten/twenty years, albeit i have no idea what it might sound like.

I believe there will be alot more "out-there" bands i.e the blood brothers.
also metalcore will be huge in the next few years.

i think that the whole punk trend will die in a few years and that people will go back to some sort of new pop music. maybe a new "thong song" will come out

i can see hardcore mixing with electronic music, well i guess we already have MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE, but i think it could get more hard than that

same here.. i think boy bands come back every 5 years then pop culture goes on this rock and roll thing.. i think people can only take boy bands for a few years and then it gets into rock for a few.. and then back to boy bands... and it just continues.

I think there will be no difference between punk and metal...there'll just be some huge ass long name like "hardcore punk screamo thrash bunny fucking toad" which all equals out to metal. I think It's all a cycle though...pop punk was the thing before it got huge...then everyone went to this hardcore emo type stuff...which kinda reminds me a little of grunge...don't jump down my throat, it just does to me. So I think pop punk will stick it's ever so sexy head back into our lives again soon...I hope.
