My guess is it has something to do with cocaine. I think it's a cool lyric, but maybe that's because I know a lot of irritating cokeheads. I like these lyrics way better than those in most of AFS's songs and I'm stoked for this record.

the line is a metaphor for caring too much about what other people think of you to do something like that, or thats alteast what i get from it.

i love the new song, first song is very good, hopefully the rest will continue considering theyve been recording this album for a very long time.

williamsburg, brooklyn. i think people here dont like the lyrics because they dont really get it - the song is referring to the "hipsters" of brooklyn, whom (according to Armor) all look the same, are pretentious, do coke, etc.

and to whoever said the band hasnt progressed, Ben said in a recent interview something about how every band tries to "progress" by trying to get all epic and spacey, and that they weren't having any of that - I respect them for avoiding that cliche and just putting out a ballsier version of their familiar sound.

i really like this song alot, and i have the utmost respect for armor simply because they never stop touring. they always release record after record and just tour and tour and tour. and this is the most time thyeve ever put into writing/recording a record so im stoked to see the overall outcome of the entire thing.

and im very glad they didnt pull a MCR and do something as massive and stupid as "the black parade", cause that was just a huge idiotic move personally to me. its gonna be great to hear a new record without 1 theme to it. so yeah, im stoked.

I met them in Greensboro, NC a year or two back after their set, when the dedicated My Town to Jersey, and we had a pretty good conversation, they seemed like pretty good dudes to me then.

And also, what's with the hate on his voice, I feel like it fits their music and vibe perfectly and is one of the reasons I enjoy them as much as I do. It might not be the quality of someone like Will Pugh but I think it's definitely a good match up
