Armor For Sleep To Play Myspace Show

Armor For Sleep (http://www.absolutepunk.net/armorforsleep) will be playing a show at Maxwells in Hoboken, NJ on June 24th, starting at 5 PM.
This Sunday, June 24th we will be playing a secret show to help our friends Leslie and Trevor kick off their book tour in support of EVERYBODY HURTS. The show is at Maxwells in Hoboken, NJ, doors are at 5pm and you will get in on a first come first serve basis. We are planning on debuting a few new songs at this show as well as some old faves, so make sure you come out if you live in the NJ/NY area.

Also – if you go to our site we have a new song posted for you to check out. It’s called Williamsburg and it may sound familiar to you if you were at any of the dates on the last Taking Back Sunday tour.

Lastly – our song End of the World is going to be on the upcoming Transformers soundtrack which is coming out July 3rd. So keep your eyes peeled for that one.

There will be lots more exciting stuff coming up – including all the dates with The Academy Is … and how you can get tix.

parking there is the biggest pain in the ass in the world. you could easily spend an hour trying to find a spot on the streets of good ole hoboken.

um you do realize none of the myspace secret shows are really secret...you add the account and you instantly find out about every show ever. its not like this is a street team only show or something that would actually be somewhat of a secret.

2. More people from the tri-state area (who will make the trip to maxwell's) will check this site versus armor for sleep's myspace page in the next 5 days

just in case you guys need it spelled out further, this means more people will show up to the venue and that means in order to get in one would need to get there earlier. if this site did not post this as a news story, then far fewer people would know about it.

well i assumed from the original post title that it was so dont bite my head off cause i actually read. its not my fault that false information was posted as factual. so i retract my statement cause if you actually read what i wrote i said if it was a street team or actual more so of a secret show i would agree that being posted here is slightly annoying for fans of the band.

The only decent place to park without paying at the end of washington street, is along the water toward the back of the city. The parking is free and is an easy walk to maxwells. The other good spot is the shoprite parking lot across from david b's (?) studio.

The new song is really good... too bad Maxwell's is, as others have said, a massive asspain to get to. You can't park anywhere near that place, and for me to do trains, westchester-->NYC-->subway-->Path would probably take 3 hours or more.

but then again you might have just been posting at 1am to win an online arguement and not to see if any news was just posted. In any event, this can all stop because far too much time has been put into this conversation.

I was talking to Ben outside the one of the brand new shows in nyc a few weeks ago, and I brought up, "You guys should play maxwell's again!" He replied that they were sometime in late June, and here it is! I think it's going to be filmed for something. I am a little too excited. They are actually going to play songs off DTMB other than my town and dream to make believe. I wish this was 18+. The last few times I saw them the crowd was horrendous. Yay.
