Okay so i am moving again. Last year my mother made me move from my home state of MD to TN. I did not want to move and i put up my best fight, but she made me move anyway. So now that i am used to living here she want to move me again, same state diffrent town. She thinks that she is doing what's best and i don't want to hurt her fellings but should i tell her that i refuse to move again or should i jus go with the flow?

I hate to say it, but at 16 you really don't have much of a choice. Tell her how much it pissed you off that you have to keep moving...at least let her know how you feel and maybe she'll try to make it easier for you.

Dont parents realize that moving really damages kids ability to make and keep friends? But it really depends on her reasoning. If its money issues, then you really have no choice.

You don't have much of a choice. Is there a reason why you guys move so often?

My mom is a live in the present type of person. We are just moving because she feels that the first move that we made was not the best choice. It's not about money or work. It is mostly about location. We have to drive at least 30 minutes to get to civilzation and an hour just to go to church, get our hair done, and to go shopping. But she knew all of this when we moved. It just pisses me off because she moved me right in the middle of high school and she is moving me again for college. I would stay but i will only be 17 when i get out of school (still a minor). And i will have to make all new friends and get use to a whole new area. It really sux to be me right now!!

remember to pack all of your beanie babies
they will have some value one day and the new people moving into your house might steal them
and make a killing and then have enough money to buy you out of your new home and you might have to move again and then you will make a pointless thread about it
and no one will care

Where about in TN are you moving? Just wondering, I live near Franklin and it's totally tight; there is a lot to do if you move to middle TN.

Omg don't be bummed, you are only an half hour or so away from Nashville. There is this music venue called rcktwn and they have AWESOME shows. I'm going to see Saosin/Poision the well on the 9th of July and Evergreen Terrace on the 22nd. I say look at it in a good way and just try to have fun. Nashville is cool.
The good thing about moving is that you get a fresh start. I've lived in the same place my whole life and I'm kind of tired of it.

I want to move. My town is a shithole. I'd be lucky if I could, consider it a chance to reinvent yourself and meet tons of cool people.
