Who are these guys?

Not to be confused with Architect (the Syracuse based hardcore band), Architects are a UK heavy metal/hardcore project made up of five guys. They are easily the best band I have found this year in the genre thus far.


What is the music like?

Hard, fast, and in your face. The album features eleven unique songs that will keep you asking for more. This is the band's second album (Nightmares was released in 2006) and out of the two, this one prevails. My favorite part of the album is the guitar work. Each song has its own sound and feel to it, and the guitar is the main reason. The riffs are amazing and make the music what it is.


Why should I listen to this band?

If you're looking for fresh new bands in the genre, this is one to check out for sure. They are up and coming, and make enjoyable Hardcore music. Their only flaw is that they originate in the UK, which means less exposure here in the states.


Are there any specific songs I should check out?

Their first song is "Buried At Sea," which has a great music video about a man who is..well, buried at sea. Other good songs to check out would be: "You'll Find Safety", "Running From the Sun", and "Heartless."

I'm not even going to waste my time ripping you apart. I wrote 3 reviews before this one, so when I decided to do this one, I figured not many people would know the band and for that reason I did it in a questionaire style. None of my other reviews are like this. If you want proof, you can just look at them. Maybe you feel tough making fun of it, or you're just an angry person, I'm not too sure...but you should probably get help.

Then again, I don't really have to explain myself to you. Thank you for the honesty, anyway.

This band is incredible. Live they are a bit of a force to be reckoned with, especially when they play venues like tiny student unions!

Architects, people need to hunt them down and support their music. Ruin's a great album. Agreed, the Dead Swans split is a pretty nice piece of music on its own.
