I submited this to Jason, but he's moving, so lack of updates today. As you know, the VMA's are tomorrow, and pretty much everything about it is shitty. But, AFI is up for the MTV2 award, in which the fans CAN ACTUALLY VOTE on the videos, not a panel deciding. So let's let the poles have it and get AFI up on that stage! QOTSA is also up for an award, who seem to be the frontrunners, becuase everyone on MTV2 seems to love that disc.

But I wanna see the irony of AFI winning on mtv.......

Just to add: why the hell is sum 41 nominated for "breakthrough" video? Wouldn't fat lip be their breakthrough? I guess I shouldn't complain though, because they deserve to win that award too. They get a lot of shit they don't deserve.

i think my favorite part of the whole vma thing is how they nominated johnny cash for best video. like mtv even gives a shit. they're just doing that to make it seem like they care about johnny cash and what he's done for music. i'm sure they tossed and turned for days over whether they should nominate him or ashanti.

and yes, afi should win that award.

YEAHHHHH! AFI WON! thats fucking awesome. The show in whole wasnt as great as I expected...its just the same stupid rap stuff over and over..but I thought Chris Rock was funny as shit! and of course.... click on that attachment "SOOOO HOTT"
