Didn't thrice get this title from a book? What is it about? I heard something about it once before, and it sounded really interesting, but I can't find anything about it. I really want to read this guy's stuff now, especially because the song ideas are REALLY interesting. Does anyone know anything about it?

i dont think that this is actually a book because i looked on 2 different search engines and came up with NOTHING except for the song. of course, im probably wrong and its just under some different name and somebody knows about it... we'll see.

Yea, I searched through almost all of the google results, but I could've swarn that Dustin was the one who said it was a book.

Wait.......CS Lewis i think his name is. The abolition of man is named after it, and its in the linear notes. I'll start the research........

It was by Al Burian, a book called the Burn Collector. Problem solved, I'll be reading this.

Although I know nothing about where the title came from etc. I would just like to say, how much I love this CD. I never was a big Thrice fan before this album came out. As soon as I heard "All Thats Left", I loved it. Sure, I knew about Thrice, everybody did. But I just wasn't big on it. But now I'm a huge Thrice fan. This CD is brilliant and has gotten me into older thrice much more as well (I now also love the illusion of safety and identity crisis). My favourite tracks on it are, "The Artist In The Ambulance", "Blood Clots And Black Holes" and "All Thats Left". Amazing cd. Props to Thrice. \m/

The exact same goes for me. There's something about this album. It's absolutely stunning.
