A girl that went to my school died of cancer at a very young age..14. It has now been a year since she died (8-25-02). She was my sisters friend and a well known person around town. Her cancer started in her back and she went through chemo therapy and it was shrunk down to a resonable size for surgery. She went through the surgery and the doctors told her it was all out. Then she went for a check-up to the doctor, and it had formed through her whole entire body. She fought hard and strong for about a year, but the cancer over came her. I didn't really know her, but when I found out she had cancer, it shocked me, and when I found out she died, I cried. And at her wake and funeral, I cried. Although I didn't know her very well, I was supporting her throughout her whole time of having cancer.
