Starting Own Record Label Advice

i would recomend you having some kind of some what of a budget since you need money and it is going to be very hard since its competitive but i wish you the best of luck with it.

i work for a small music promotions company so i have some insight on that kind of thing but as far as record labels go, i really don't know what to tell you.

i would recommend going to small record label sites and emailing someone.. people actually do respond and are extremely helpful...

also check out http://www.velvetrope.com. it's an industry webboard, a lot of important people go there frequently so i'm sure if you made a post on there, you'd get some pretty good feedback.
