Mikeys Fight Of The Night

every night for the next week, I will post a link for all the fight fans, and sports fans who may be curious about the sport (MMA) ...

I will pick 7 of the most exciting fights that I know....and will try to avoid big names (Liddell/Couture/Shamrock etc)..

hopefully some of you will enjoy this, and those of you who are not as familiar with the sport...maybe this will spark an interest..

for my first selection I picked a fight between two lightweights...this is a very exciting fight...its a bit one sided...but this has to be one of the greatest displays of heart...and determination that I have ever seen... these guys go out there and give it everything they have...so sit back and enjoy...

I know you were asking Mikey, but my two cents says, most likely, Tito by floor and bore. I'd love to see Rashad flash KO his ass with a kick, though. That'd be sweet.

I like Rashad...but I dont think he has really been tested yet...and he might be overwhelmed by Tito...at this point atleast....

I am gonna go with Tito by TKO (by ground and pound) in the first round...


BUT if Rashad does win..it proves that he is for real..and a threat in the LHW division...this is his biggest test so far

a very close fight between Clay Guida and Tyson Griffin.. Two of the sports most talented up and coming Lightweights...these guys leave everything they have out there in the ring....but only won walks away as the winner.....

between PRIDE phenom Takanori Gomi and Brazils best LW Luiz Azeredi this is a standup battle..fists and feet, nonstop action .... big finish.....aggression...heart..bloo d...it is all in this fight..

these are big name fighters and just a plain BIG fighter...

but I chose this video because it shows that you can be alot smaller then your opponent but if you have the drive and heart to not back down....then anyhing can happen

Diaz/Gomi was a great fight. That kimura attempt at the beginning of the first round was the craziest thing I've ever seen Nick Diaz do. Too bad it didn't work for him.

Yeah did you see his eyes when he lowered the glasses? He got caught real good a couple times. That match was insane though, Nick Diaz is my favorite fighter because he always brings it, and cause he's slappin gogos and throwin hooks to the head.
