I'll be there, but I don't think they announced the full lineup order yet. I read that John Mayer goes on at 5:12 and either Bon Jovi or the Police will play last.

they were only given enough time to play 4 songs...its not like they can dictate how long they play considering they are one of the smaller bands on the bill

Anyway, it was a pretty great show overall. I would give a longer review but I am too tired. FOB and TBS didn't sound too great. AFI sounded awesome as usual and Bon Jovi was the high of energy for the day. During the Police, both John Mayer and Kanye West came out during "Message in a Bottle" (both of them put on spectacular shows earlier in the day, I just don't know them well enough to post a full set). Despite the heat and the length, I had a really good time.

I don't understand why Kanye West was allowed to play 8 songs and mostly everyone else got 4.

Because unlike George Bush, Al Gore likes black people.

because they were mini versions of the songs. he did maybe a verse or two then moved on. it was a mega mix kinda thing.

MSN has all of the bands' performances On-Demand on their Live Earth site.
