the first one of these i saw was survivor man. whenever i would flip through the channels and see it i would stop and watch it. but once i saw man vs wild for the first time it put survivor man to shame. the quality of man vs wild is so much better than survivor man. yes bear grylls carries around flint all the time but he doesnt always use it all the time, he shows you different techniques to start a fire and yes bear grylls has a camera crew with him but it makes for a better quality show. when i watch survivor man now all i can think is this is a loser stranding himself in the woods or somewhere and videotaping himself, its like watching home movies. its such crappy quality compared with man vs wild. ive learned much more from watching bear grylls than from watching survivor man.
