with the start of training camp a week or two away, i was wondering what people think of this years teams, so i'm making some polls to rank some different categories. vote early and often.

who's the best starting QB? (some teams might have a different starter at the start of the season but i'm going with the most likely at this point)

Upon seeing the thread, is it wrong that I immediately wondered who would make the first Joey/GOD reference?

I voted Manning.

I was going to vote for Vince young, but since it looks like Weber does not like him...Im changing my vote (for fear of being banned). I'll take Matt.

I voted Phillip Rivers because I am an absolute homer but come on guys VY? Phillip Rivers > VY, at least I'm not the most foolish one here. And why was Brady Quinn at the Espys? Does losing every important game in your career at Notre Dame qualify you to receive an invite to the Espys?

This is the dumbest fucking poll ever. It allows people to do what I did and just vote for their hometown quarterback. It should be a poll of 5 QB's Manning, Brady, Palmer, Brees and maybe Marc Bulger then you could a real debate but listing 30 quarterbacks is stupid. Like seriously Jamarcus Russell as a choice. How the fuck can he be the best QB when he hasn't taken a single snap in the NFL?

i dont think its a poll of the best quarterback in the nfl; it seems to be a poll of who will have the best 07.

Hmms, more votes for Rex Grossman and Losman over Carson Palmer? Seriously, I was the only one who voted for him? I think Palmer is going to have a breakout year this season and have the best season of all the QB's listed, but even if you don't agree, how can you vote for Losman or Grossman over him? Wow...

that's so awesome, what are you doing there? batting cages? i distinctly remember playing street fighter and ninja turtles arcade games there. and getting hit with one of those yellow batting cage balls and getting the little dimple indentations on my arm.

where did you grow up?

Justin_stacy
07/26/07, 02:42 PM
Well i think you have a couple of the potential starters wrong. Crolye is the likely starter for the Chiefs, not Huard. I also don't think Oakland is stupid enough to start Russell right away given how bad the Raiders offense was last year, Walter or McCrown are more likely. Vick is out for good, Harrington is there man, how much do you think Falcons are regretting the Schuab trade now?

Brady i think will have a strong year, as will Cutler in Denver, and Schaub will shine in Texas if he can get the protection Carr never recieved. I also like Leinhart's future prospects, but he could end up like Carr, continuous bad teams kill promising careers.

Surprised i was the first person voting for Brees. Yeah hes not better than Peyton Manning or Brady but I mean hey Charlie Frye got a vote.

Same thing with the rb poll, are people thinking the Saints offense was a fluke last year or what? Next to the Colts they were the best in the league.
