Tonight's show was in a word, amazing. It was a free show at the Knitting Factory which is like a 300-400 person venue which is great and it was promoting the book "Everything Hurts" I wanted to pick it up, but I needed to use my money on food and transportation.
Anyway, Chris played a great set, it was really laid back and he told a bunch of funny stories. By halfway through the set, he was just picking songs almost at random. He would walk around the stage fooling around on the guitar thinking of what song to play next. The crowd was pretty good, a lot of sing-alongs and just an amazing time. I really hope he goes on a solo tour this fall/winter, but I have a feeling I will never see a show quite like this one.
