Star of German Film "The Lives of Others" dead at 54

Ulrich Muehe has died. :-(

So I just heard this sad news, although it apparently happened yesterday. It's really tragic, especially considering how incredible his performance in "The Lives of Others" was (not to mention the film itself). Thoughts?

And by the way, if you haven't seen this masterpiece of German film yet, do yourself a favor.

Holy shit, that's terrible

Seriously, he's performance made that film, he was brilliant. I wish these excelent actors got some more global recogntion. It makes me sick that performances like these are going unnoticed when fucking George Clooney and Julia Roberts are winning Oscars.

Anyway, I digress. Very sad news. Go see this film.
