Who?

It's Like Love, a powerpop quintet out of the state of Arizona. Full of energy and fun, they're band you definitely shouldn't miss out on.

How Is It?

Well, I had to check my ID3 tags to make sure I wasn't playing an unreleased Motion City Soundtrack EP. Whether or not that's a bad thing depends on if you like Motion City Soundtrack in the first place. Lucky for me, I happen to love them, so getting into I'm Selling Your Things wasn't a problem at all. I'm Selling Your Things had me hooked from the first listen with each song containing an unbelievable amount of catchy riffs, overflowing synths and a whole lot of bynths (Bynths isn't actually a word, I just needed something to rhyme). I'm Selling Your Things' lyrics aren't a masterpiece, with many being clichéd and sex themed (But hey, it's not like anything about sex makes anything bad). Overall, along with the music, the vocals, that are so strikingly similar to that of Justin Pierre's, coincide together so well that It's Like Love could easily become one of your "Bands Of The Summer."

I'm a sucker for a catchy chorus. I really like this band, not really unique I guess, but awesome none the less. I suggest 'Girls Like Jerks, Girlfriends Don't', pretty cool.
