Hey Interested in hearing my bands E.P?

My band -Connery- will be releasing it's first official E.P in early september. it is tenatively called the Furthest From the Sea E.P.

no offence man, but i don't think its good enough to go on smartpunk yet. the songs are quite good, but they need to be recorded better, and they're too rough, the drums go out of time and whatnot. but i do realise its only a rough demo. the acoustic songs are better than the full band ones, recording quality wise. you're not a bad singer, but there are ways you can improve. you have promise :-)

JAKE!!!!!!Where have you been man? I still listen to Favorite Shade Of Blue, which is funny because I was listening to that a little bit before. Oh man I'd love to get this E.P. when its recorded, but I'd love a signed copy. That would be so kick ass haha.

I really didn't care too much for the non acoustic songs, they reminded me of Rigged and Ready(production sound wise), but I liked the acoustic tracks:-) You said that those were just the demos, and the E.P. will have better production, so maybe that will change my mind. How are you selling it? Just as shows?

I agree to some extent. The full band songs are lacking in orginality and intensity. However, I enjoyed your acoustic tracks, which I have said before. Closure is catchy and flows rather well until the bridge. I cannot help thinking that the "sunny" part in the song should simply be used as the bridge, but then that is just my opinion. Anyways, notify me whenever the E.P. comes out.
