-Opening acts: Local band Getaway Van, Maxeen, Don't Look Down, and Plain White Tees
Wow, I didn't think that many people were into Yellowcard. I went to the concert for my Music Appreciation class because I have to write performance review papers every month, and I chose to do Yellowcard because of their unique sound. I only have their first CD and the Underdog EP, so I didn't know any of the new songs, but it still rocked. They kept the crowd going the whole time, and even quieted it down in the middle with an acoustic set. If you haven't seen this band yet, I highly recommend that you do, because I predict a breakout. I mean, they're getting airplay where I live (That's nowheresville, Michigan) so that must mean something. Anyway, if they do break out, I hope it won't ruin my opinion of them, because right now, they rank as one of the best bands I've ever seen live.
