I'm starting to get back into a ska phase I was in during middle school, but I'm trying to expand my two-tone library.

Recommend me some bands along the lines of:

The Specials
Toots and the Maytals
The Aggrolites
Bad Manners
The (English) Beat

good man, 2-tone is great

2tone:
the selecter (essential band is this genre)
madness (first two albums only - i'm a fan, but not in a big way)
the bodysnatchers
the loafers
the toasters (also pretty essential)
king hammond (essential)
originals
heavy manners
potato 5
hotknives
plastic gangsters
maroontown
volcanoes
skin deep
riffs
natural rhythm

some bands that aren't strictly 2tone, but have a hugely influenced & general 2tone sound:
the dead 60's
busters
house of rhythm
bigger thomas
mr. review
bluekilla
judge roughneck
skarface
mad lighters

general ska (that you might enjoy given you metioned the great toots):
the slackers
hepcat
the skatalites
the heptones
stubborn all-stars
prince buster

hope some of that helps mate. also hope to see ya round the music forum, the more ska/reggae love round here the better
