I've been reading too much shit about Modest Mouse being compared to Brand New lately and it's starting to get to me. If there is one band that sounds similar to Modest Mouse it's Built to Spill. Or is it Modest Mouse that sounds similar Built to Spill? You decide.

I love both bands, but my vote goes to BTS! You can't beat Keep it Like a Secret.

Modest Mouse might win only because they are a lot more commercialized than BTS. Built to Spill's first album = There's Nothing Wrong With Love in '94 and Modest Mouse = This Is a Long Drive for Someone with Nothing to Think About in '96, so BTS was rockin' the sound before Modest Mouse. But damn if This Is a Long Drive isn't one of my favorite albums.

I hate Modest Mouse.
So I'm going to have to go with Built To Spill, though I'm not a big fan.

There is Nothing Wrong With Love is my personal favorite BTS album.
