seattle people

[James to Feel]

I just moved to seattle from out of state and need to find a band but have no idea where to start looking. I have posted to the stranger and craigslist but am getting nothing but douche bags hitting me up to be in their old school thrash bands..

Any ideas on where to look? know anybody?

I am pretty open musically but want to do something serious.. I've put out two records and toured pretty extensively and simply want to find a group of peeps who are serious.

go to myspace, look up bands within like 50 miles of seattles area code, and just start looking at their profiles for "guitarist needed" blogs. thats how a couple kids found out we needed a bassist. theres a lot of solid bands in tacoma too.
