Apocalypse sucked, but I think it was because they tried to make it WAY too much like the game. This seems more like the first one (straying away from the game) so i'll definitely see it.

I heard they were trying to make this one more like the game. I don't really see how though aside from bringing in Tyrant and Claire Redfield.

I dug the first one. Even though it wasn't a great film my any means it kept my attention and had plenty of action (though they skimped on the blood). The second one was a huge pile of shit, though. The third one doesn't impress me one bit, and I think the teaser trailer it had is one of the most annoying teasers in a long time.

fan service. if you like the games, then the movies hold that appeal.

I liked the first one, and since the second was basically RE3 with Alice, I liked that one as well.

But this one...doesnt fit into the timeline as far as I can see, and last time i checked Claire was either a redhead or brunette, and all of 18 years old. im sorry, but i can suspend my belief about anything but that.

In another thread I think it was you who praised 'The Host'. Honestly, that movie was a joke, and in attempt at being any genre of film. RE films are at least fun to watch.
