We're all innate fashionistas
Dressed to impress
With no one to watch
How pathetic we must seem
living each day in front of mirrors


Oh, reflection: feed my need for attention!
We starve ourselves septic just to feel epic
I need this mediocrity documented
so that maybe the flow of time will stop.

We'll speak in tongues so cryptic
to feign intelligence when we're
only muttering false adoration.
We're the Beautiful with our audience
"Please form a line right here,
Diva making her nonchalant entrance"

I haven't seen a piece from you in a while. I liked the flow to this a lot, but I wasn't too into the imagery sorry. Still it's good, but just not my thing. Anyway, keep it up Alyssa.

I knowww i have a major case of writer's block haha.

Thanks, and thats okay. It's actually based off the movie Party Monster, since i just watched the movie and read the book back-to-back. i'm slightly obsessed now :/

I thought this was pretty cool, although Im not too sure what's so bad about dressing nice.

thank you very much - sorry it took me a ridiculously long time to get back to this; i was on vacation.

and haha its not really dressing nice but letting one's obsession with appearance engulf them completely.
