Eisley Appreciation Thread

I really feel like these guys don't get much loving around here, and perhaps are written off by few because they are an all female band (vocally). Seriously, Check out Room Noises and Combinations if you haven't yet. Eisley's musicianship will blow you away, lyrically they are better than a lot of bands talked about here. Damn good band.

They butchered Aeroplane Over the Sea, I will never forgive them for that.

Hahahaha. I heard that as well and turned it off 45 seconds into the song. They should just stick to original material.

I think that if anything, they are given more respect because they're a female-fronted band.

But that's beside the point. I think they're decent, but a bit overrated.

I listened to "Taking Control" last night on whim. That chorus is glorious in a completely stupid way, and I love it to death.

I have two of the old EP's, but neither of the full-lengths, haven't decided yet if I truly want to buy them... I get Ruckus in a week, so a lot of the fringe stuff I occassionally listen to will most likely get transfered to that...

Absolutely love "Combinations". The lyrical content is exceptional and vocals, ecspecially on "Sight To Behold" are very strong. Highly reccommend this new offering.

Haven't heard Combinations yet but I've always been a fan of Room Noises.

I had no idea they covered In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, was it really bad? I can't imagine it being good, to be honest.

I love Eisley. I just saw them play this super intimate acoustic show. They were flawless. Combinations is a great album. I didn't think they could top Room Noises for me but this did.

Seriously some of the most beautiful vocals I've ever heard.
