This week is the inaugural week for a fan favorite feature that Absolutepunk.net was once renowned for, The King Of The Hill contest. Each week we will stream two songs by some up and coming bands/whoever we feel like throwing in that week, and there will be a poll so people can vote for their favorite song. The song that has the most votes at the end of the week will stay up for the following week, while a new song will go up in the other ones place. ANY song off of "Another Intervention by DTEA could've beat this EOTC song, but the new DTEA album (IMO) is weaker than their old album, and the new EOTC CD is currently 1 of my top 10 albums of the yr, so that's why I went with "sugar skulls"

Wow, what are the odds that EOTC would go head to head with DTEA? I'm good friends with both of these bands (toured the country with one of them, basically discovered the other) and wish them both the best of luck. While I decline to state which band got my vote in this case, I'll just say it's the one that thanked me in their new album's liner notes. Blah.
