I like Motion City Sound Track. And I love their keyboardist cuz I got this DVD thing for Epitaph and their video for 'My Favorite Accident' is on it and it's also on their CD. And in the video he does a hand stand on his keyboard and he's a total spaz the entire video... yea, I know someone is probably going to tell me this post is pointless, but really, most of them are, so like I give a damn... tell me it's pointless if you want, I wont really... care...

And I'm sorry, I wont make new threads on here anymore, seeing how it bugs everyone. I didn't know there was a rule that you had to have a certain ammount of posts to be able to make threads without everyone jumping down your throat. AND I know someone will tell me that it's only pointless threads that bug them, but all these threads are pretty meaningless...

despite the fact that the keyboard player for mcs is pretty cool....i still think the keyboard is a pointless instrument for a punk band.

the way i see it, the keyboard player is about the same as a roadie. its like, hes their friend and they just let him play the keyboard so he can "be in the band".

plus, in live concerts you can never even hear the keyboard.

theres a reason why the key-tar died out in the eighties.

You can always hear their keyboards in concert, and listen to their old stuff if you think the keyboarder is just tacked on. The disc wouldn't be the same without him, kinda like the sean from yellowcard. Unique instruments are cool!

And I think the keyboard is a cool instrument. But that's not really why I'm in love with him. It's mostly because he's a spaz throughout the entire video and he does a hand stand on the keyboard. Plus he has wicked sideburns...

Okay clarification, the key boardist totally does a donkey kick, not a handstand. And i've seen them live multiple times, and every time the donkey kick gets higher and more cool. They really do put on an awesome show, it gets better everytime I see them.

How can the keyboard not break when you put all of your weight on it? With the piece of crap keyboard I have, if i did that, Id end up on my head with a broken keyboard on the floor next to me. Needless to say, Im gonna try it when i get home. :)

i have to say i really liked the sound of them from punk o rama and the warped tour cd, and then i watched the epitaph dvd and they had my favorite accident on it and i was like, wow they are nerdy, and it made me like them even more. but i dont really like the cd a whole lot, but i have only listened to it once...perhap i will listen to it again tonight.

Yea, The first time I listened to it, I thought 'eh.... not so great' But I've listened to it a few times and now I love it. 'The Future Freaks me Out' is a great song.... and I got that DVD thing for Epitaph too. I got it in a magazine from Hot Topic...
