This is a revised copy of an old song of mine...."Joe's Song"
New title, b/c so many kids seem to think it is the answer...i just want to know since when did suicide become the new trend, and the ironic twits of teh title with "dieing trend"...I hope you like it

"The New Dieing Trend"

Another statistic
On the suicide charts of tomorrow
It's all you'll be, If you decide to die tonight

Mark one up as another one falls
The days not done 'till five more fall dead
Bleeding on the grass of today
Burning in the memory of tomorrow
What more will it take before this all sinks in

Giving up never seemed so easy
But…
One choice sees the light of tomorrow
And the other sees the darkness of today

Giving up, Giving in, is the worst thing there is
The tears will fade, but the memory will remain
A kid who couldn’t put up the fight
And a mother wonders…why?

The fight hurt, and took the strength he didn't have
And giving up was so much easier
Missing the light of tomorrow
Fading into the darkness of today

Now he’s just another statistic on the charts today
And he won’t be here tomorrow
So mark one up, as he slowly falls
And the day is done, when four more fall at his side
And a mother still wonders…why?

But, the days not done ‘till four more fall
So mark one up 'cause they are falling
Why couldn't they just see the light in tomorrow
Instead of exploring the darkness of today
Why couldn’t he put up the fight?
Why couldn’t they put up the fight?
Why can’t we just put up the fight?

Suicide?..Okay..yeah sure. It's a bit over-used...but the song over-all...it's alright.

I'll agree to it that is why i used the song to tell a story...if you notice it goes from point a to point b, unlike most songs it actually has a story adn puts a face to the kid in the story rateher than it just ebing anyone, but yeah it can be overused that i=s why i changed it to get through from point a to point b as fast adn easily as possible, but i would say that this song more shows an outsiders point of view who sees the victim and those that they affected, rather then the normal hes dead their gone im sad songs you would normally see

October Nights, I would really like to see you type something for yourself for once, every post you have written is always following the people who have responded before, by only saying yeah it's good or yeah it's bad, you need to describe yourself, and if you call something on being cliche you need to describe what is cliche about it. not just say...yeah i agree it's cliche...

I disagree.
I think alot of people claim "oh, i know how it feels to be on the edge, I've been suicidle b/c of this, this, and this. 75% of the time the person is full of shit. Feeling depressed, alone, left-out or whatever is a totally different feeling than being suicidle. When your suicidle you don't care lonliness is your friend, you don't want to be around anyone. And right before it happens you become happy b/c you know it will all be over soon.

I say 90% of people don't know what it's like 7% of people are dead because of it, and the other 3% are border line and should really reconsider.

As for relating...NO people can't relate, they can relate to depressing music about how left out, lonely, and depressed they are and how it makes them wish they weren't here, but that is different than being suicidle.
