the pieces of a broken star lie amongst the bloody shards of a broken heart. (right now you couldn't kill me fast enough) how could they let you out the door with a shirt drenched in blood and a knife in your hand. (but it doesn't matter anymore) don't reach for the stars, they'll burn your fingertips. please....please step on the gas i want to hit that tree going fast enough to kill these dreams, because you broke them along with me. and the blood begins to cake on my fingernails from when i tore open my chest and pulled out the pieces of myheart. i try to sew it back together, but you never returned the piece i gave you. so i substitute a piece of the star. and now i am one with the night sky.
