Here is a poem I wrote.. and you guys can criticize and critique all you want. This is why I am posting it.
Why in a world with so many souls, mine goes unfullfilled?
Why on a day that's streaming with light, darkness has overspilled?
Why are there people who try understanding, yet remain so naive?
Why do I continue to try so hard, when my goal I cannot achieve?
Where in the world is there space for me, one lost little soul?
Where on this day in the overwhelming darkness, is there light to fill the hole?
Where are the people who gave me false hope and always let me down?
Where should I continue to search for life, when all I want to do is drown?
So here in this world, I'm left alone to battle through all the strife.
So here on this day, I challenge myself, choosing sword over knife.
So here are the people who trekked by me, with their carefree attitudes.
So here I continue down a brand new path, not following in their shoes.
