What a fucking huge disappointment. Seriously. They may not be a very original sounding band to begin with, but Of Love and Lunacy was a very entertaining/epic album. And they just butchered their own sound with The Serpent, you can call it progress, but they just got even more generic imo. And the vocals are bland and pretty boring. What did you guys think?

hugely disappointing. A few tracks are listenable, if you act like they are a different band.

I haven't listened. They DID put out a sweet video on how to make Mojitos however during a backyard barbecue - pretty funny video right here (http://www.thedailyrock.com/2007/08/14/cooking-with-church-mike-church-of-still-remains-shows-off-his-mojito-recipe/)

I change my opinion on the album daily. Recovery is one of my favorite songs ever (mostly because of that epic feeling) and nothing from The Serpent really compares to that song. There have been a couple times that I listen to The Serpent though and find myself really enjoying it. I am just not in a very Hardcore music mood then.

It is pretty much two different bands. There are hints of the old stuff on the Serpent, but it is a big change. My opinion is that as long as they are happy and made the music that they wanted to...good for them.

This cd blows really.
I've liked some of the songs on their first album, but this is really bad
