Well as we all know, it's almost october and you know what that means. So i have made a little schedule predicting who will make it to the play-offs and who wil win each game, here it is.
---National League Divison Series---
Atlanta Braves vs. Chicago Cubs
Braves win series 3-1
San Fransisco Giants vs. Florida Marlins
Marlins win 3-2(yep, I'm picking the underdog)
---American League Divison Series---
New York Yankees vs. Minnesota Twins
Yankees win series 3-1
Boston Red Sox vs. Oakland A's
Red Sox win series 3-2
---National League Championship Series---
Atlanta Braves vs. Florida Marlins
Braves win series 4-2
---American League Championship Series---
New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox---
Red Sox win series 4-3(that's right)
---World Series---
Atlanta Braves vs. Boston Red Sox
Braves win series 4-2
those are my predictions

i dunno, theres some good contenders this year, if the red sox are gonna win they will have to get some stable relief form the pen

I think the Red Sox are going to win.
Even with the relief being so.. inconsistent.. you've got some really good people there. Timlin, Jones, Arroyo, Embree, and Kim. Grady's going to be making the starting pitchers in the rotation go into the game for as long as they can, too, so that may help.
The offense is killer most of the time..
They're going to do this. This is a great ball club, and as long as the pitching stays in gear, they're winning the World Series.

yeah, their offense has been great the whole year and they will have to get about 6 or 7 runs per game, like they have done all year but i still think they have a shot (but im pulling for the braves)

Watch out for the Minnesota Twins. My prediction is that they will beat the Yankees in five games. Watch Game 1 and you'll see how good pitcher Johan Santana is.

The Twins have done horribly against the Yankees this season. I don't mean to be a downer, but the Yankees are going to take the Twins.

i'd like to see the twins beat the yanks, but its not gonna happen
I would love to see the Twins against the Cubs in the world series but I know that will never happen.
Here are my predictions.
Yankees over the Twins 3-1. Minnesota has the potential but they have bad pitchers.
Red Sox over A's 3-2. That series is going to be a series to watch and I think it may determine the winner of the AL.
Giants sweep the Marlins. The Marlins are good but there pitchers wont be able to handle Barry. If Barry has a horrible series then it could be different but even then the Giants have good pitching.
Cubs over the Braves 3-2. If anyone can beat the Braves its the Cubs.
___________________
Cubs over the Giants 4-3. This will be the most entertaining series. Can the Cubs contain Barry or will he get the best of them?
Red Sox over the Yankees 4-2. Yankees pitching has gone to hell and the Red Sox hitters will only make it worse.

Cubs over Red Sox 4-3.
Anybody that thinks the Red Sox dont have it together doesnt have a case.
The curse of the Bambino is an urban legend.
The didnt have the top 2 hitters in the American League as a fluke.
And even though the pitchers are inconsistent so are the rest of the remaining teams in the AL. The Red Sox have to good of run support. The Tigers pitchers can win the AL with the Red Sox line up.

i'm a huge braves fan and i feel if they can get past the cubs they can make it the rest of the way. i mean, if they can get past wood and prior, that offense can beat any team. i'm hoping Chip, Sheff, and Javy will come through. Andruw Jones is known to deliver in big games too.

TWINS WIN GAME 1!!!!!!!!!
Bullpen did a good job shutting down the Yankees after Johan had to leave. Although, it was Shannon Stewart's play in left field that saved the game. Twins achieved their goal of winning 1 game in New York. If the Twins win game 2 then the series is over. There is no way that the Yankees could win both games in the Metrodome if they were down 0-2 in games.

its a bigger upset that the cubs beat the braves than the twins beat the yankees
Its going to take more than that for the Twins to impress me. If they have a decent game 2 then I may be a believer. The Marlins/Giants game was amazing.

Argh damn sucky A's will never be able to clinch a series. Stupid bastards. It's too hard being an A's fan. Boo to Boston. I hate the Red Sox, Yankees, and Cubs. So go Marlins? Too bad they're not too good.

well now that the braves are out, im rooting for the red sox, but if they dont make it, then im rooting for the marlind, and if they lose then the cubs, then if they lose then FUCK the yankees

If Boston doesn't win, I'm not rooting for anyone. I'm.. only a Red Sox fan.
I'd hate to see the Yankees in the World Series. They're a typical, mediocre New York team. 'Least Boston has some heart. Being a big Boston fan, I really want to see them in the World Series.
Ehr. I think the Oakland A's are alright. I wouldn't have minded them so much in the World Series. I'd mind Byrnes, after what he did to Varitek, but.. ehr. Varitek's my boy. =/
Dude, don't you guys get it? Where have you guys been hiding the last decade?
Braves is one of the suckiest team ever, what good is it to win 1000 games in the season and then to lose 4 in play off.
The only true team in MB are the Bronx Bombers!!
Yankees are the only true team in MLB baby, can't nobody hold them down. The Red Sox has no chance in hell of beating the Yankees in ALCS.
That's just me a big Yankees fan, like it or not, you gotta respect the Bronx Bombers.

I respect the "Bronx Bombers" just about as much as I respect.. lets say.. Britney Spears. They have all the money in the world to spend on some of the "best" players, yet still stink, and the players themselves are overpaid.. something or anothers that probably have no loyalty what-so-ever to the New York Stankees as a ball club.
They're also boring.

Ya i don't care what any of you guys say, the Cubs are going all the way! They have the best starting pitching in the entire league. No one will stop them.
And this was my very first post ever!

*claps for Dan?* Ehr.. yay. I was watching the Cubs at work, and they do have good pitching, and really big bats. I'd love to see the Cubs against the Red Sox. And if the Yankees make the World Series instead, I wouldn't mind seeing the Cubs win. They seem like a pretty good, deserving team.
Wel it's true that the Yankes invest tons of money in their team. But that's because they are team that like to win. Other teams instead of investing the money in the team, the boss of the team sticks the money is his pocket. And then they wanna talk about Yankees being an evil empire cause they have too much money. That's just desperate words from a loser.(I mean the mean, not you guys) And I'm just messing aorund.
