anyone who lives alone

I was just wondering if anyone else who lives alone talk to them selves often?

Today as I was making myself some dinner, I realized I was talking to myself (not out load, in my head) as if someone else was there with me, watching me cook. I knew what I was doing, this wasn't at all a halucination of any sort haha. I just consciously talk to myself as if someone is with me, for no apparent reason, maybe cause I'm just in need of some more interaction when I'm by myself?

or I'm just a schizophrenic...

sorry that was lenghty, just wondering if anyone else does that.

hahahahahahaha (I can't lie, the idea of it has crossed my mind:-( ) but realistically its not gonna happen, I don't even like cats that much.

The idea on no cats is good. To the point however, I have found myself talking to myself in my head from time to time (only recently though). Normally I am always with people, but recently my schedule changed to where i'm busy from 4 in the morning till 6-7 at night, then don't get much time before I must go to bed and start over (besides weekends i'm free). It is during this time of no interaction with people i've found myself doing this, so atleast I know when I catch myself doing it it's best to go to a friends house/girlfriends house.

Living alone sucks. I didn't think it at the time but being in a new flat now I realise how much it was gay.

I would talk to myself out loud a lot.

Especially when you're the only person in a 6 room flat.

I think it's really just times you mean to talk to yourself in your head, but it accidently just slips out of your mouth, which is the part that makes it odd. Because, talking to yourself in your head is completely normal, I mean, i'm sure everyone has to do it. Not having conversations with yourself or anything, but stuff like "Ok, i need to do this, this and this" ect.

a lot of people in the apt ocmplex I live in actually have a dog. And I would love the company of a dog, but the thing is, I would only be able to walk them/let them out during lunch time and maybe at night. Cause I'm pretty busy at school most of the day. So I would love to have one, but it just wouldn't be fair for it to stay inside all day.

although I know some people who talk to their dogs and they do sort of sway over the line of crazy talk with them haha

yeah, thats pretty much what I do. I'll be like "ok so what should I make for dinner...ah this looks good..now I'm going to do this and that etc. etc" but not outload - I'll say it to myself in my head 99% of the time.

lol i talk to myself even if other people are there! but usually i don't realise i'm doing it or i voice thoughts that were meant to stay in my head. i just lose control of my inner monolog, i have been known to sing without me realising it lol then to have people stare lmao!! ah life is fun

so did I, but now that I'm living alone, I find myself talking to myself in a manner that someone else is with me. Like "soooo this is my apt...so what should I make for dinner?..." stupid stuff like that

I know no one is there, I just feel like preteding someone is there so I feel more important or something. I don't know man...as long as I'm aware that I am alone I guess it can't be too problomatic I supose

i guess i talk to myself alot but i usually just consider it.....you know.....thinking.
sometimes i'll be with somebody and pretty much have an out loud debate with myself when i get really into a line of conversation to though.
