Dukes Of Windsor – The Others
Label: Independent
Release Date: September 26, 2006
Who:
Aussies that sound like a cross between Oingo Boingo and The Matches…which is kind of like inbreeding anyway.
How is it?:
A lot of fun, especially if you like to dance. This is somewhat surprising considering the Dukes inked an exclusive deal with perpetual second-rate mp3 player stomping boys, iRiver. Fortunately, the music is of far superior quality. Could the Dukes be the best Australian import since Crocodile Dundee? Or will their attempt at Northern Hemisphere dominance be just as short-lived and forgettable as Paul Hogan?
THIS is a knife: “The Others”, “The Pretty Girls”
Club kids: Oingo Boingo, The Matches, VHS or Beta
