Obviously I'm new here and was wondering if anyone was into Rise Against. I love them but I just want to know what else people think of them here. This is mainly just an ice breaker thread but let me know what you think of them.

I think they're great, but it would rule if they would stop trying to cover Black Flag songs.
Revolutions Per Minute is a great album.

I really enjoyed their first two records but I lost track of them for a while after that. Their latest wasn't too shabby.

Rise Against is one of my favourite bands. Tim McIlrath has such a unique and powerful voice. I LOVE their album "The Sufferer and the Witness". It may be seen as mainstream but I love it. It's not as rough as the previous records...

I really don't like this band too much. They don't have an "original" sound to them I guess.

Saw them last week and it was pretty kick ass.. they have alot of energy and they really put on a great show.
I haven't heard their last two records but I occasionally enjoy the unraveling and revolutions per minute. 'Six Ways Til Sunday' is sweet.

Tim's voice is so inspiring and perfect for the band. I love them. Very uplifting. Most bands who sing about topics such as they do are too whiny.

My favorite band. I love The Unraveling and RPM.
