I'd have to say my idols are chris conley, because he finds the beauty in the world....geoff rickly, because he doesn't fold over to american culture, and follows what he believes in his heart, and jesse lacey, because he is so emotional in his writing....

I look up to Mia Hamm and the rest of the USA soccer team because they are such awesome athletes and made women's soccer what it is today. They've won tons of Gold medals and who can forget the World Cup '99? They are awesome. I also look up to Michelle Branch because she's a cool chick and doesn't have to look like a slut to make good music.

at the risk of sounding corny, i look up to my parents.. my dad had nothing when he was growing up and he worked his ass off to get where he is now and to make sure i have everything i ever need. and my mom's just the strongest person i've ever known. she's gone through two bouts of cancer and never once let me think she was on the verge of giving up. so.. yeah. that's about it for me.

Kris Roe is my idol. I've never seen anyone write with that much heart before, and a lot of his songs got me through some of the hard points in my life. Not to mention, he does all his own photography for his life, and I am very much into photography.
