Poor Excuse

Blame Adam when Taking Back Sunday's new album completely sells out. Im calling it already, without John's lyrical insight this band is Senses Fail.

Who are you to call anyone a sellout? At least Adams out there putting his heart on a cd. What do you do? You post your ideas on a website. Hmm, lets see, who earns respect? Dont diss on people for making the best of their current situation, even if its not as good as a past situation. This reminds me of a joke I read somewhere, It might have even been here:
Q: How many punks does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
A: Three. One to screw it in, one to say "dude, thats sooo punk," and the third to call the other two sellouts.
GC are sellouts. NOT taking back sunday.

I agree with everything you said except GC being sellouts. MaybeOneDay made a very good point a couple threads back, at least I think it was him. . . both of their albums are pretty similar. How did they sell out?

well, i guess its hard to defend something like that, its just an opinion really. I thought their first album was good, but TYAH kinda sucked, it seemed that the production got cleaner, and the lyrics dumber. And did anyone see joel beatboxing on the mtv awards? that really sealed my opinion for me.

haha 13th hour I loved your joke there...
Yea i don't see TBS selling out, they just won't be nearly as good. But hey at least straylight run is half decent. So instead of 1 REALLY awesome band we have 2 awesome bands.
and good charlotte definitely blows. haha it's probably been said a million times but I'll never understand a band of rich guys who sing a song complaining about rich people who complain. But I guess they sort of are sellouts, if being a sellout means you're played on mainstream radio and MTV and are loved by 12 year old girls everywhere.
"Now class, who thinks that TBS isn't even worth all the whining and attention?"

And too bad Senses Fail really aren't good people... I've heard some pretty bad things about them from other bands that I've talked to and hung out with.
