so what are some ways you've interacted with bands during concerts?
i was a Mest, Allister, SKSK show in a tiny club last year. i'm 6'4 and i had front row for most of the show.. i got hit in the mouth with a guitar during allister's set. during scary kids, the keybaordist headbanged into my face and dropped his keyboard on my head. and during Mest, tony held my hand and talked to me bewteen two songs, telling me i didnt have as nice boobs as his girlfiend or something.. then he kissed my hand. it was pretty weird. then at warped tour this year, during NFG, i was crowd surfing and i happened to surf right into Jordan Pundik's arms during the chorus of "hit or miss" it was a magical moment indeed.

wtf SKSK with Allister and Mest?
In like January, Alesana's singer pulled me forward and let me scream into the mic.

i saw mae play an acoustic set at the old good records in dallas, i was one of two people there, one of my best friends was the other dude.
mae's van broke down after they played in dallas the night before during a tour with elliott (?) so they stuck around town and set up a in store but no one knew about it except me cause i happened to check their website, this was in 2002 or 2003
they played 5 songs for us and answered all our random questions
I saw fall out boy play to a crowd of 6 people at red blood club in dallas when they were first starting out.
I got to see ultimate fakebook rock out a dorm room when i was in college
I got to live with anthony and brandon from circa survive during sxsw in 2005(?) and got to watch him play various songs on a shitty acoustic guitar, my friend jill has it on tape somewhere

uhhh oh man, probably when i saw Acceptance almost 2 years ago & during the opening line of "The Letter" ("...don't point the finger, choose the winner") Jason Vena and i pointed right at each other and he sang to me for about 15 seconds..it was awesome
another is when i saw, not purposely, Bullet For My Valentine (who i'm not a fan of at all..i was waiting front row for DDG to play) and the bassist stood in front of me and stared intensely as he licked the bass and gave me bedroom eyes for nearly their whole set..it creeped me the fuck out.
i've also been to a lot of shows where me & the singer lock eyes for a long time and it's like they're singing to me. always makes me feel pretty cool haha
oh and also when i saw TRS, i was like center & front, so Bryce Avary kept stepping on my head cause i was right under the mic hahaha. not exactly magical but it's close to your experiences

When Thursday played here last year I got to be front row center. In Understanding in a Car Crash Geoff gave me the microphone and I got to screaming "UNDERSTANDING, IN A CRASH".
I was the only person who got the microphone that night. It felt AMAZING.

It was at a Moneen/Alexisonfire show. And I saw Moneen Two years earlier. I was in front the only person who was singing songs from The Red Tree or even their elder stuff. And all of sudden Kenny pointed at me and said. Hey I remember you from Ghent (we talked there for a whole while) and he dedicated a song to me and said I deserve to put it in my heart and do whatever I want with it and that he has a lot of respect for me... The whole show he kept on talking to me and even came dancing (you know how crazy he is)
Believe me, I see someone in a band as a person not as god, But it just felt good that he could remember a Belgian guy. So a lot of respect to Kenny too
