i recently decided i wanted to try and teach myself the keyboard but i have no background experiance at all. if anyone know's any good resources or anything i might be able to check out to get me along my way it would be much apreaciated, thanks and keep on rocking!

If you want to teach your self the keyoard, you should buy a book on it or get a lesson.

do you have keyboarding in school? personally its a waste of 41 minutes that i could be using to take another art class........but you might find it helpful.

Keyboarding is pretty easy.

It's way easier just to teach yourself, than to take a class and move at the speed of a special olympic hurdler. Plus, then you have to listen to a shitty teacher and do work thats pointless and not what you want to do. And then you hate doing it just because it isn't anything you want to learn or play.

So, find some sheet music. There's a ton of it online free. You can also get Finale Notepad for free. Which allows you to compose music for various instruments and play it back. And some websites have files of the sheet music for finale, so you can hear it playing as you are learning it.

Also, I had this older keyboard, and I took a piece of tape and put it along the top above the keys, and then I wrote all the notes for each key on the tape. That way, I could just quickly look up to see it. And soon enough, I was able to play without anything.

oh also i was thinking, anyone might know where i can get some motion city soundtrack sheetmusic/keyboard tab? i love the keyboard in that band and if anyone has seen them play live, then you might know how crazy the keyboardist is when he plays
