do you all have stupid scenes with kids who dress up and hang outside venues instead of listen to music? Guys wearing girl's pants and stupidness. We have scene kids with "scene rags" and toothbrushes in their back pockets, it's rediculous. We had No Motiv come to town and they thanked the people who were inside listening and not trying to be scene and look cool outside.

YES... the toothbrushes. I do not get that. But of crouse. Esp here. We have this venue called The Norva. Kidds sit outside of there even if there isn't a show or if they aren't even going to it. It's across the street from the mall, so they think they are super cool mallrats who hange at The Norva. Or the kids that think that Hot Topic pants are actually cute and should be worn everwhere. Yeh... those kidds tend to scare me a bit. But really... I would LOVE to know about this toothbrush fetish.

Where I live, the toothbrush thing started with the hip hop guys. They would keep a toothbrush behind their ear because they "never knew where they would end up sleeping that night." It was supposed to be all hardcore and ghetto. I have never seen "scene" kids with toothbrushes...either way...its pretty lame.

the 'scene' is extremely lame. everyobe us always trying to outdo each other in terms of style and credibility. i thought music was basically that, it didn't include the style and mechanics of it all
