so i'm pretty much over the asshole that messed with my head all summer but now i feel like i cant listen to any of my music anymore because ive lost the ability to relate to it slash it all reminds me of him....i need music that has NOTHING to do with relationships and hopefully is happy/peppy/ALMOSTpop...im thinking mayday parade and the starting line minus the heartbreak...songs like radio #2 by the ataris...im desperate here!

its cool if theyre mildly about relationships because in reality most songs are...but no whining about heartbreak and no love songs and no crushing songs because im just not about relationships right now

haha i am pretty sure this is the point where my older brother steps in and says "well, everything in that genra is about whiny little teens and their emo problems... you should just listen to rap"

ugg i hate him but to an extent he is right.. its pretty hard to stray away from relationships in the kind of music on this site. I would suggest some pop punks bands like FYS or sum41 that can just get you in a fun mood.

haha i know the majority of music in this genre is about relationships but theres definitely a good amount of music in this genre that doesnt just say things like i want you back i miss you i need you over and over
