I'm glad to see that he's playing the most off of Letters. I wish he would put some of the songs he used to play back in the set, though (San Fernando Sexx Star, Radio Tokyo, Last Flight Out, etc).

As long as he gets out of this Lets-Go-Out-Tonites funk.

Thanks for posting the setlist for the SF show - I'm going to tonight's show in LA. I'm bad about remembering setlists but I'll do my best to post it when I get back. Seeing Butch is always a good time, but I really am hoping for a set with more covers and older tracks rather than the last 2 albums.

I was surprised that we got the exact same set-list last night as you got in SF. I was kind of hoping he'd change it up slightly but it was a good show, just not quite as great as any of the other shows of his I've been to over the years. Part of that might have been due to the venue and the crowd - this was held at The Troubadour and there were a lot of "Hollywood types" that came out for the show, yuck. There were so many rude a*holes who didn't even seem to care that Butch was playing and were too busy getting drunk and talking to their whore girlfriends the entire show. That was the only negative, well that and the fact that he didn't change up the set list at all. I hope he goes back to playing more intimate venues soon.

Fuck, I love him. One of the most BRILLIANT performers I've ever seen. No Sober? I'm surprised.

Damn, it's a shame he didn't play some older stuff. It's gonna be really hard for him to top the shows I've already seen him perform.

Hopefully the new stuff ends up sounding great.
