Does anybody know what Bigwig is up to?

Are they writing a new CD? Are they planning to tour? Have they broken up? Anything?

They come and go. They've barely played any shows at all the last five years, and I wouldn't expect too much from them album-wise anytime soon. Tom is the only original member left, so it's pretty much on him.

bigwig is amazing. i wish they would come back and tour, but thats def not happening.

Got a sampler disk with them on it a long while ago from Interpunk. I remember it being solid... I'll listen to them later today

i haven't listened to Bigwig in a long time. it would be nice if they did another tour, i haven't seen them in a while.

im confused..... earlier this summer their was a news post discussing Bigwig touring this summer. And working on a new album.... in fact in 2007, when I talked to them, they told me they were going to release a new album in 2008....liars?


but yes this is more of a post for me to say Bigwig is awesome.....and probably one of the most underrated bands ive ever heard. Like they're actually "really good"...and really punk? yikes

they released an album late 2007 on fearless records....tom is laying low in south jersey......the rest of the guys im not sure......brent hammer ex big wig is doing his other band www.myspace.com/thefirestillburns and thats about it.......cheers

Last I heard, tom posted a bulletin on myspace that said they were coming to the west coast in october. Hopefully that's still happening.

yeah i havent seen tom in a long while since i moved to toronto and no longer reside in jersey......hope they tour though bigwig was/is amazing and always will be
